Stakeholder Management
Vaal Central Water continues to deliver sustainable value to its stakeholders through provision of bulk water services that are cognisant of the economic, environmental and social impact. Establishing and maintaining good relations with stakeholders is imperative for successful running of an Entity delivering a basic right, the right to access water. Relationships with stakeholders are guided by the Entity’s values of transparency, integrity, accountability, professionalism and ethical behaviour.
Stakeholders are engaged at various levels and platforms to meet their common and unique needs. The Entity identifies key stakeholders that are affected and/or influence the operations and activities of Vaal Central Water, their information needs and service expectations. Furthermore, the most effective methods for disseminating information to stakeholders are also identified that will result in a transparent and the most appropriate consultative processes.
