Vaal Central Water takes pride in a well-qualified executive management team that possesses a balance of skills, ranging from technical to administrative expertise. This is demonstrated by some members who have been with the Entity since its inception, therefore ensuring stability and continuity in terms of tacit knowledge of the sector and institutional memory, as well as enabling knowledge transfer.

Due to historic technical set-up, the Entity still operates with a male-dominated workforce. However, concerted efforts were made towards 57% of the executive management being women, of which youth constitutes the majority. This confirms that the Entity is making great strides to address the imbalances in the water sector and is one step ahead of the recently proposed changes to the Employment Equity Bill.
